Abstract

Global trade, as a crucial link connecting production and consumption across different regions, plays a vital role
in the era of the digital economy. The rise of the digital economy has injected new vitality into global trade and
propelled its high-quality development. This holds significant importance and far-reaching implications for enhancing
circulation efficiency, competitiveness, establishing a unified national market, and achieving the “dual circulation” new
development pattern. Therefore, this paper aims to evaluate the impact of digital economic development on the highquality development of global trade by utilizing China’s import and export volume and digital economy index from
