Abstract

As a significant driving force of the world economy, the digital economy takes on an extremely important role in the economic development of all countries. This paper discusses the internal logic, motivation and evolution of digital economy. Based on the understanding of the concept of digital economy, this paper explains the differences between the digital economy and the traditional economy and the role played by digital technology. Analyzing the inherent development patterns of digital economy from the perspectives of technological factors, economic factors, social factors, etc., this paper examines influencing factors such as technological innovation, market demand, policy support, and industrial convergence on the digital economy. Furthermore, it categorizes the development stages of the digital economy, proposes corresponding evolutionary models, and predicts future development trends. Finally, it suggests that the government improve data governance and social supervision to provide a foundation for the sustainable development of the digital economy.
